ZRENJANIN

 

Lies 73 N of Belgrade on the banks of the Begej River. Known as Veliki Beckerek, it was the feud of the Serb despots living in Hungary after the fall of Serbia. In the 1700s, thanks to the Popovic family, Zrenjanin became home to many artists.
